I can happily recommend this book to anyone with or without children, a super read.

The Olympic Torch is passing through Much Wenlock, Ironbridge and Telford tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday 30th May. Celebrate London 2012.

WINTER WONDERLAND IN MARKET DRAYTON

Christmas Day and we decided to stay on flat ground with all the snow in Shropshire. A beautiful sunny day so we drove from The Stanage in Telford to Market Drayton and had an enchanting, and very cold walk along the Shropshire Union canal.

It was lovely to see so many people and dogs enjoying the snow and the warming sun. Back to the car for a welcomed flask of coffee and mince pies before the journey home.

One of our guests walked, some came on bicycles and one on a recumbent cycle. Although this is lying down or recling it certainly does not look the ideal position for riding 80 or more miles a day on our roads.

All took to the road after a full Shropshire breakfast and a good nights sleep.

Makes running a B & B very intersting when we have such varied and adventuress guests to stay.

We look forward to welcoming many more in 2011.
