North Shropshire

Leave The Stanage and drive north/west  along the A5 and visit first Oswestry and then go to Whittington( A495) where you will find a truly beautiful little castle set with moat and lawns. Lots of history to discover and well worth a visit.

Leave and head for Ellsmere where not only will you find lovely lakes you can also walk along the canal path of the Llongollen Canal.
