Lands End to John O’ Groats

This summer we have had a number of guests stopping over at The Stanage on their way to Lands End and John O’ Groats. Telford is on one of the routes. Some of them have successfully completed their journey and others are still on their way. Hats off to them all for such an amazing accomplishment!

One of our guests is still walking, some came on bicycles and one on a recumbent cycle. Although this is lying down or recling it certainly does not look the ideal position for riding 80 or more miles a day on our roads.

Makes running a B & B very intersting when we have such varied and adventuress guests.

Along with the en suite available in room 3 ,there is a separate bathroom available to use if prefered. This is just a few steps along the landing. We provide towelling robes for your use while staying in this room.

Double en suite Bedroom

Having a double bed and en suite shower room and faces south overlooking the pretty garden at The Stanage.

One of the main features of the room is the bay window and window seat, just right with a good book and cup of coffee.

Having a double bed and en suite shower and has far reaching views east. This room is situated at the rear of The Stanage.

King size en suite Bedroom

Room 3 is the largest bedroom and has a king sized bed and is at the front of The Stanage facing west through the bay window. This bedroom has an en suite bathroom with hand shower. Please be aware that the ceiling is sloping. However there is a large separate bathroom, with full height shower in the bath, less than 10 steps along the landing. Towelling robes are supplied for your use.
